Your Second Visit to Our Watertown Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Your second visit will be a report on the findings in your case.  We encourage you to bring someone with you to support you in your care.  Often times, the doctor will go over a lot of things in a short period of time, many of them new and different than what you’ve heard before, so it’s nice to have an “extra set of ears” along with you.

By the time the doctor is finished with the report, you should have a very clear picture as to what is wrong with you, what caused it to get that way, how we can help, how long it is going to take, and what is going to happen if it isn’t fixed.  You will be given plenty of opportunity to ask questions as well.  At this point, you will be given a choice as to how you’d like to proceed with your care.

Going over finances.

Following the doctors portion of the report, our Financial Officer will explain your finances as it pertains to your care.  If you will be submitting your charges to an insurance company, she will have contacted them to find out what your responsibility will be based on the information provided from them.  Our Watertown offices are providers for most major insurance plans as well as Medicare and Medicaid.  We also treat a great deal of workers compensation injuries and personal injuries related to accidents.  Once you have all of your questions answered, we will begin your care!

Dr. Hendricks Asks some important questions of interest to Watertown residents - Chiropractor Watertown Dr. Hendricks Asks...

If you have a fever, are you sick or healthy?
Chiropractors love asking this question because it gets to the root of the chiropractic difference. Turns out fevers, vomiting, coughing and even sneezing are all healthy responses. It means your body is working correctly. Taking medications to suppress these natural processes can actually prolong your recovery.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
